A good au pair has to be open to new experiences, want to care for children, has to be an open-minded person, talkative and fun. A good au pair must be energetic, creative, dynamic and has to have a lot of energy to play and make the kids’ year an unforgettable year in their lives.”

Why did you choose Cultural Care Au Pair?
I wanted to live with an authentic American family and take care of their children. I love children! I wanted to learn about another culture and improve my English so that I can complete my university studies in Brazil and start a career in tourism.

What has been your favorite memory of your last year with Cultural Care Au Pair?
I’ve had so many great memories! I learn everyday something new with my children. It’s incredible how fast they grow up and teach you how to love them, new games, new words. I teach my kids everyday a new word in Portuguese, kids’ songs, kids’ food. I love to cook new foods for my host family. I love sharing with them my culture.
